crank / start times vary. Sometimes builds pressure and starts normal and others and moreoften once the truck sits for 5 min it cranks for 5+sec sits at 65 psi then ramps up and fires. Any ideas would be great!
2006, doesn't seem to matter which way your parked, ficm is steady 47.5-48.5 . Temperature doesn't seem to effect things either . Would a small high pressure leak do this?
Not sure, the truck is a 2003 cab/ box on a 2006 chassis so I'm having a hard time with the vin. What's your thought in the parking ? Maybe I could try something there
HPOP on older trucks lose the seal, that year wont. You need a live gauge to monitor ICP and IPR as you crank it to see what happening. Torque Pro, Scan Gauge II, search will yield much reading.
I can see the icp with the edge insight I have . The pressure when it's running is between 650 and 3500. Defiantly takes longer sometimes to build to the 500 mark, as it's cranking it's around 65-75 bouncing around and then when it's "ready" ramps up quick and starts
You have a leak. Air test it. IPR is 14.8 at KOEO and 77% at start. 21.4% at hot idle, 24% or more would say a leak. 40% at 2500 rpm in park, all at 192° operating temp.
