hpop pressure?
At WOT, what is the pressure of the hpop? I heard it should be 3,000 psi, mine is 2,500 psi. It doesn't vary any at WOT, stays at 2,500psi. Is this normal?

Are you taking a direct pressure reading, or using a scan tool?

3000 is the upper limit of a stock HPOP, but I think 2500 still falls into the acceptable range. If no one else replies I'll look it up tomorrow. Since the pressure is rock steady at 2500 I'd call it good, if not just a little bit weak.

i would think if you are holding 2500 psi on a 15* pump you are great.

I was kind of thinking I was OK or maybe a little weak. Just curious, what would a SD 17* maybe put out?? Thanks guys!

its the same pressure just 7cc more oil per revoloution

Just looking for potential problems. My truck pulls my 5er great but goes flat at upper rpm's. Thinking about changing to a SD HPOP.
