05 excursion did get the 05 headlights, grille, header panel and bumper. Same as the super duty trucks. The rest of the excursion more or less did not change but the front end did.
If I could do it over I’d have bought the Harley headlights and be done. My aftermarkets fog up in the rain or car wash, it’s annoying when I have so much time and money invested in old girl. I’ll be upgrading to the Harley Davidson’s eventually. Halos look cheesy and high schoolish in my opinion.
I also stayed away from the projector lights when I upgraded, but wanted something for day use. I ordered the same OEM look with the LEDs at the bottom of the housing and hooked them to a switch so I could run them as DRLs. They make this style in the 05 Harley look with 6 LEDs between the headlight and bumper lights. Sorry, my camera can't really show the detail of the LEDs, but they are about 13K my headlight bulbs are 6K. I never run them at the same time.
