I am looking to replace the factory black vinyl/rubber floors in both my '81's (one column, one floor shift) they are cracked and torn. I have searched all the posts and all I am finding is either junkyard or ACC. Junkyards struck out as all (including newer trucks) were ripped and wrong colour. I have no problem with ACC but they look to cover the entire floor unlike the original that stops at the seat. For me all I want is factory replacement and although I could cut a full floor down, I would rather find a new one that is already the correct size. I put my hands on a Dennis Carpenter E3TZ-1013010 (that they say fits either floor or column shift even though the hump is different). It is rubber with no insulation/backing and more of a ribbed texture, not at all like the original, it does however stop at the seat. Does anyone know of a factory replacement vinyl floor with insulation that stops at the seat? Alternately, if I go full cab, is there another manufacturer than ACC? Anyone have experience with any replacement vinyl floor good or bad?

Ford floor mats usually didn't come with insulation.
See 13010 in pic. These applications apply to 1980/84 F100/350 and some 1985/86 F150/350.
So if I understand, there should be no difference between floor and column shift? Its been years since I have removed a vinyl floor but I thought the insulation pad came out with it, maybe it was just stuck? Or was there no padding/insulation from factory?

I posted the parts catalog pic so I wouldn't have to type all the part numbers and applications. But it seems you didn't notice that the suffixes are different.
Look at E3TZ-1013010-B8A and notice what the applications are. Click on the pic twice to enlarge it, use the cursor to move it around.
This thread was helpful for me as well since you mentioned a couple of aftermarket suppliers and NumberDummy posted the original Ford numbers. I am just in the process of switching from a column shift to floor shift, and I've more or less been under the assumption that I will have to change my rubber floor mat. I am assuming that with the new slightly higher hump in the floor that my original mat won't fit well....I figure the left and right edges would be pulled away from the trim pieces.
Anyway, my point is, I will know fairly soon whether my original mat will work or not. If it does not, I will let you know as mine is in very nice original condition. Shipping to Alberta might be too much however...it wouldn't exactly fit in an envelope...lol.
Stock interiors also has a "short" rubber floor that stops at the seat like the original. It has no padding and is more of a smooth ribbed (not pebbled like original), probably same one Dennis Carpenter sells. Looks like for original texture all I can find is full floor, and I am assuming the new vinyl is close to original texture as I haven't actually seen one. Does anyone know if there are any differences between ACC and Stock Interiors?
My original 1983 vinyl floor was a full covering piece. I replaced it with the same piece from Stock Interiors. It fit like a glove, was the correct color ( blue) and the correct grain/ texture.
