Here's what I did. $10 charging pad on Amazon, drill and a rubber grommet. East to hide and keeps my phone able to plug in for Carplay.

I just routed a USB cable behind the HVAC and radio controls. Purchased two parts for $21.00 total.

Are the USB ports supposed to fast charge? I'm thinking my Galaxy S7 just slow charges with it. I know my wife's PIxel 2 was a slow charge.

I was looking for a wireless option but I started using Android auto and that requires a wired connection. The phone charges while connected so would putting it on a wireless charger even make a difference?
