Restoring my dad’s F150 1978 - Specs?

Greetings, after more than 15 years in a barn, I decided to “restore” a 1978 F150. I want it to be my vechicle for my periodic visits to the ranch in southern Chile Patagonia. To start, I’d like to ask for help with the specs.

VIN

Use this link to learn the specifics. 1978 F150 4x4 with 300 inline six. To be specific, that's the warranty tag in your picture. The VIN is stamped on the frame rail. Look in the stickies for pictures of actual location.

The DSO of 94 indicates that the truck was built for export.

I wanted to thank you all ... this forum is great ... much knowledge, but moreover, great attitude. Thanks ... next step is learning from my mechanic what he thinks he needs.

On a suspension related topic, I remember my dad said "this pick up truck came with two sets of shock absorbers per side because it was ready for a V-8, yet it has a 6 inline, so I left just one each side". Does that make sense to you? Should I install two shock absorbers per side, or just one?
