Another VIN Decode
Hi All,
I looked at a possible parts truck today for my 65 f100. But it has potential to be restored itself. Im wondering how it came new. What can you guys tell me about it?

R = San Jose CA Assembly Plant.
687534 = 1965 .. assembled April 1965.
129" Wheelbase.
M = Wimbledon White.
F100 2WD .. 5,000 lbs. GVWR
381: 3 = Medium Green Crush Vinyl & Medium Green Wicker Pattern Vinyl / 81 = 81A Standard Cab.
F = Borg-Warner T-18 4 Speed Manual Transmission.
08 = Ford 9" Rear Axle / 3.50-1 / 3,300 lbs. Rear Axle Capacity.
5,000 lbs. Gross Vehicle Weight Rating.
150 net HP @ 3,600 RPM
