Seat heat memory

So as far as I've read the heated/ cooled seats are supposed to come on when you start the truck at the same setting that they were at when you turned it off. Anyone have issues with this? I'm finding that sometimes it works and other times they either don't come on at all or if they do it's some random setting.

I have the same issue. From what I can tell it's rare, or others don't seem to notice. I asked about it awhile back and no one reported similar behavior. I love when it decides to come on at full cool when it's 10 below.

In winter my seats automatically come on full heat. In summer full on cool. It's always on max setting regardless what I have temp set at in truck when turned off.

I'm pretty sure there is a setting somplace that you can select
"AUTO" which puts the heat on when it's cold out or the coolers on when it's hot out or
"LAST SET" (or something like that) - which leaves the system to whatever you had it on when the truck was shut off.

I have mine set to auto & it will kick the butt warmers, heated steering wheel & truck heater on when i remote start it in the AM. Most days it's warm enough in the afternoon that I have all that stuff off & it still automatically kicks it on the next AM when I remote start again.

Hasn't been warm enough (nor have i remote started on a hot afternoon) to test the cooling seats etc.

check your settings, i bet you'll be able to select auto, or however you left it.

I've done this. It lasts about two days then goes off completely. It does not do it consistently at all. Seems to be to somewhat based on temperature outside no matter what I do

Mine only remembers the last setting when I don't use remote start. When using remote start, it is either full cooled or full heat. Outside temp doesn't matter, it sets based on internal truck temp. It could be 10 outside but if the sun is shining in the truck, cooled seats turn on.
