Seat heaters are tooooo hot on lowest setting.

I have noticed that my seat heaters are way toooooo hot, even on the lowest setting. It gets uncomfortably hot. Is there a way to turn them down in Forscan or internally?

Forscan does have some settings where the temp can be changed. You'd have to look through the list to see what the factory temps are and what they can be changed to to see how low they can go.

I usually turn mine on for a few minutes until the seat is not cold anymore then heaters go off. They won't get cold again as long as you're sitting in them.

The seat heaters in my '16 Mustang, on the lowest setting are perfect. My '15 F150 on the other hand, on the lowest setting will cause you to squirm as it gets quite painful after 5 minutes. .

The material on my XLT seats aren’t nearly as thick as my 2011 was. This results in uncomfortable seating but super warm seats in all but the lowest settings. Because the seats were uncomfortable I added seat covers. This seemed to help both with the padding and comfort using the seat heaters. I even went to the dealer to complain about thenpadding in the seats. They told me to live with it.

If they are getting that hot they are getting ready to fail.

Did you try them on high just to make sure the switch isn't wired backwards? Another option is to place a pad on the seat to lessen how much heat reaches you.
