I tried the update to Sync 3 version 3 via USB this weekend, and I’ve been stuck on “Updating Software” for 2 days. Anyone else have this problem? I’m upgrading from 2.3 to 3.0, and it just sits there, and I don’t see the red light on my USB indicating that the system is using it anymore. Any ideas?
I’ve skimmed through the other posts regarding the upgrade, but I didn’t find anyone else that is just stuck. Thoughts?
Mine is stuck on a WiFi update. It’s stuck at about 25% downloaded. I let the truck idle for an hour with my WiFi source 10 feet from the truck. The progress bar never moved. I gave up for now.
Thanks for the reply. I let the truck idle
for an hour and finally gave up and turned it off. Now, it just seems to be stuck. Oddly enough, yesterday it said the update was complete and next time I reboot it will finish. Well I restarted the truck and it is still the same update. The “Updating Software” message reappeared and now I’m just stuck again.

So far i`ve only heard about one owner being able to update to 3.0 via WiFi but his vehicle was a 2018.

Sounds like you might have a bad USB stick or it`s corrupted.
