delete 6.7 question

ive had sd trucks for a long time and like my current 11 4x4 gasser but am thinking about swapping it for a 12 or newer 6.7. my son's 12 f350 was deleted and tuned when i got it. i love the power and turbo sounds but not sure i want to always listen to if i get a 6.7. is it possible to cable a selector that can dump exhaust sometimes or send it thru factory exhaust if i need to be quiet

There is a 6.7 section where this should go. However, if you delete, the factory exhaust will be gone. You can install a muffler in its place though with an electric cutout in front of it. I've never seen it done but it's possible.

Personally, if I was going to delete the emissions junk, I’d put a decent muffler on the truck. I’d give up some of the performance gains for a quieter rig. I’ve been there, done that with the straight piped truck, and there are times when being quiet is nice.
