Bogged down, then shut off

Hi everyone. I have a 93 F150, 5.8, E4OD, that was acting like a dog all day the other day, for probably 50-60 miles(severe power loss). Then I was driving and had to put it to the floor to get up to speed out of town(at a reasonable pace even)and the motor just shut off, and now it wont run with the exception that if I hold the throttle lightly just right, it will run, but acts like its running on like 4 cylinders. I don't think its one of the fuel pumps because the front and rear kick on, I took the throttle body off(to get to the TPS) and I had no coolant drain out of it. Checked the rad(F250 rad), it was noticably further down than I had it. I had checked the coolant temp when it shut down and was rolling to a stop, and it was still cool. Any ideas? ICM, TPS, Head gasket?

I would run a compression check first, may be a blown head gasket. Mine blew the hose on the throttle body awhile back, I plugged it off just to get home, it ran like crap till that hose was repaired. same symptoms you describe.
