Unhappy need help figuring this one out please

I bought a 1994 f150 2 wheel drive 302 automatic with 103000 on it. I have searched for years for an older ford f150. Love them. Well I drove it back from New Jersey. 300 miles. Ran excellent strong no tapping no tranny slipping etc. Baby is strong runner was taken care of no question. Well issue is. Here we go following not working horn cruise odometer speedometer. OD is flashing air bag is flashing. Is there a bad module bad wiring or what. I am keeping this old girl and plan on fixing the little rust on her. Placing the chrome back on her someone painted it black.

The horn, cruise, and airbag could be the slip ring behind the steering wheel

The cruise will not work if the speedometer does not work. I would look at the VSS on the rear axle to start

Pretty sure all of the steering controls go through the clock spring behind the airbag. There are instructions for replacing it on here somewhere. The main thing is to disconnect your battery and leave it off for a while before messing with the airbag.

2X on the clock spring and leaving the battery disconnected for about an hour before replacing it.
Also sounds like a VSS problem, does the odometer show the mileage or is it blank?

If I recall correctly, there is a fuse, (#8?) that kills the speedo/odometer which will also kill your cruise as mentioned as well as flash the O/D light. Worth checking.

No odometer working either. I read somewhere another person had exactly the same crazy issues. No speedometer odometer od flashing airbag flashing kept blowing fuses. It was the air bag module. If all what you stated is not the issue(s) could it be this?
