Siriusxm Problems

I just bought a new F150 and cannot get the Siriusxm activated. Although Siriusxm has sent out several signals, it has not activated. They told me I had a hardware problem and I bought it to the dealer. They have trouble shot the audio system and they say the problem is the subscription is not active. All I have to say is I’m glad I’m not paying for it. So far my experience has been less that thrilling.

Well, depending on the trim level of your F150 that you purchased, and if the vehicle was an actual brand new vehicle and not just new to you, you should get several months of free Sirius service. Also, i`m not sure if you know this so I apologize if you do but not all new F150`s come with free Sirius for the first several months.

Your best bet is to take it to the dealer and tell them to fix it.

I got it all straightened out last Friday. The radio had to be reset by Siriusxm. They had to walk be thru it. Go to certain channel. Turn off radio. Turn off truck. Open door for 20 seconds. Close door. Start truck. Turn on radio. All reset and working. The truck was a brand new XLT, FX4 model with XTS package and Sport package. More letters than I care to remember. Lol
