I got the $100 pair even though I only needed one at the time. So now I have a spare for when the other side starts leaking. And IIRC the $100 set were OEM and the $20 single one was not.

If they are in good condition otherwise just run some thick rope through them and this will give better closure. Cheaper than a replacement set.
I've also used the clear surgical tubing from Lowes in our other truck. It worked pretty good for me, it's been over a year and it hasn't really compressed much.
