How accurate is this reading? I either have a problem with the reading my PCM puts out or with torques interpretation of that reading. I am In the Denver area so somewhat high altitude. Torque reads anywhere from 11.8-12.2 psi which doesn’t match the current weather report of pressure nor does it translate to a proper altitude reading.
Your baro is reading in PSIA while the weather report is probably in inches of mercury, InHg. At 1900ft elevation I read about 13.8psia usually. The current pressure in Denver is 30.14InHg according to my weather app and I’m assuming that’s a sea level reading which would equate to around 24.7InHg at 5000 ft, which is roughly 12.1psia.
