Recommended OBD-II adapter for FORScan

Don't have my new 2018 SD yet (still on order), but after reading the threads about FORScan and what can be done with it, I've been thinking about mods I want to make. Is the "426101 OBDLink MX" from Amazon always $79.95, or do they offer it on sale from time to time? Since I don't need one quite yet and can wait a bit, I was just wondering if any of you folks have scored one cheaper than the current $79.95 price.

That's the one I run. 0 issues. Have used it to flash over 20 trucks. Not one problem.

I’m interested in this as well down the road.

FYI, camelcamelcamel.com will track all Amazon products price history.

Here is the OBDlink MX for you. Looks like it’s a good deal.

Thanks calihornia, that price tracker looks like a good tool to have. I appreciate you running it and for providing the link, as it shows the price history that I was seeking.

While I can't answer your question about finding one cheaper (got mine from Amazon 11 months ago), I can say, buy that specific model. Others may, or may not work. The OBDLink MX works.
