Hey guys, I was wondering what the lug nut torque specs are for the 18 inch aluminum chrome clad rims for when I do my next tire rotation. What's the best way to take off the center caps or do they need to come off at all to take off the lug nuts? Here's a pic of my 17 F250 and the rims/center cap I'm referring too.
Thank you guys, never even thought of the manual! Dealership put a little gouge in one of the rims when they did it last time so that's why I want to do from now on.
165 lb.ft according to the 2017 OM (v3), page 413.
For single rear wheel vehciles, check torque again 100 miles after "wheel disturbance" (e.g., rotation). For DRW trucks, check at 100 miles and again at 500 miles.

^^^ What he said. I didn't remember it right. I looked at an older version of the manual it was 165 there also. So I don't think the spec has changed.
