Will a 2005 5.4 3v matchup with a 2004 f150 xlt?
my friend tells me that my truck was made in 9/04 so it’s a 2005
I look it by the VIN and it says it’s an 04
I would look at the title, not the manuf date...... Sometime in 2004 the motor was changed from a 2 valve head to a 3 valve head.. You need to determine what YOU have and what the NEW motor has..... Probably on a tag or embossed on the intake duct.
