3 valve per cylinder engine?

3 valve per cylinder engine?
How do I find out if I have a 3 valve per cylinder V10 motor in my motor home? I have a 2005 Coachmen motor home and according to the VIN number it has a 2004 F53 chassis.
I called my local Ford dealer and they told me that even with the 2004 VIN number I still could have a 3 valve motor depending on when the chassis left the Lexington assembly plant. I was wanting to put a K & N air filter on it to get a little more air through it. I just don't want to go through all of the trouble to get the original filter out to get the Ford part number off of the filter so I can use K & N's cross reference system to get the correct filter cartridge.

F53 is NOT a E350 or E450 van chassis...... yes the E series did NOT get the 3v V10 but this gent may have the newer motor
3V motor visual clues
Throttle will be electronic..look at the foot feed....there will be no linkage or cables
Plastic intake plenum will have a weird looking actuator on the very front with side linkages to actuate the internal butterfly torque valve
Flat canister air filter instead of the round snorkel canister
fuel system will have a long wide vacuum canister behind one of the rear frame members and is a return-less fuel system....

Let me re-state then... FORD DID NOT PUT A 3V ENGINE IN VANS OR F53 CHASIS MOTOR HOMES IN 2004 OR 2005!!
if you read my above post...i said vans or chasis...
I'll even be so kind as to inform you that 2006 was the first year of the 3V in the F53 chassis...it also came with a (not previously available to F-53's) 5-speed trans instead of the 4r100.
