Front hubs

I noticed tonight while manually locking/unlocking my hubs, they are real hard to turn. Is ere any way to free them up, perhaps some lube around an o-ring inside?

Mine turn easy. Make sure your transfer case is in 2wd before turning. I bet if turned a few times, it will be fine.

Mine just glide...super easy to turn. Is the vacuum system engaged or something?

You have defective hubs, they use a floating lock ring design, so whether there's a pre-load or not, the **** cam simply applies pressure to a wave spring between the **** and lock ring. When the hub rotates, the lock ring will eventually align, and the spring will provide the force to drop it in or out.

Usually when the **** is difficult to turn, there's a pinched o ring or the spring is caught on the housing.
