**Full disclosure, I am putting an explorer axle under a 47 ford truck. So I am not familiar with much on an explorer**
How does the equalizer work? I thought that it allowed for equal amount of pull from each brake cable when the brake is pulled.
But when I pull the front brake cable, it only pulls the driver's side brake. The passenger cable is attached to the equalizer, but doesn't move. Further, I do not understand how the passenger side brake would engage, since the equalizer is not attached to the actual cable, but to the outer housing of the cable.
After a little more googling, it looks like I am missing an equalizer spring. I can't seem to find one available for purchase, though. Anyone know where to get one?
