Glow plug sensor? '86 6.9
I was wondering if there's a temp sensor for the plugs in my model. After a couple years I just realized that there isn't a light to tell me when the plugs are ready. I have a push to heat and I never really gave it any thought since I bought it that way but anything will help regarding installing on if possible.

On that early system the sensor is part of the controller.
If you have a push button for your glow plugs then someone's modified your system and the controller is more than likely out of the loop now:
