Scanning codes, etc....
I had my light pop on last week, check engine light.
I drove by the dealers, he informed me it would be a few days to get the truck in.
I was on my way to work, having already left the island, spent my ferry pass, etc.
I continued on to work, light stayed on, truck ran great.
BTW, I have only had in about 5 months, a 2011 F-250 FX SD 6.2 gasser.
I purchased a scanner.
The light went off.
I hooked it up anyway, and clueless as to what I do next.
In set-up, it ask me about auto, or manual, and make of vehicle, but doesn't give me any other options after I enter Ford.
Anybody know of a good tutorial I might take advantage of?
I have googled it, but to date, its as vague as the directions that came with it.
