Guys, last year I purchased off the internet a Schumacker PSJ-3612, 3600 peakamps, 470 cranking amps, 385 cca, cables are 2 ga, AWG x 55" long and 38 lbs. A little pricy, but maybe not too much for these trucks. The batteries in this unit are replaceable. My previous unit was stolen from the truck in the driveway a couple of years back.
I have an old (5 years?) jump battery. It'll never start the truck with dead batteries, but when I park my truck at the airport for a week in the dead of winter, I'll leave it in the truck and I hook it up right off the bat after cycling the GPs. This way I have "three" batteries to spin that frozen motor over faster. The slower the starter turns, the more amps it draws and the quicker the battery voltage drops.

Know what will if the battery is dead? Not that I would deliberately kill it but it would be nice just in case
As the others have already posted, I doubt there's much portable out there that will provide the needed power. When my batteries failed In Mass one winter, the tow company that AAA sent out was a diesel and used two sets of battery cables to get me started.
