Harmonic balancer

I'm upgrading my 83 300 to serpentine belt setup. Is there any difference in harmonic balancers? Other than the obvious difference, will the serpentine setup just bolt on? I have a 92 parts truck with everything I should need.

I would use a new balancer, but that's just me.

Pic: Harmonic balancer is basic Ford part number 6312. Notice what it says for 1987/89 (E7TZ-6312-A):

Mr. Number Dummy, I appreciate your response. If I'm reading that wrong please correct me, but it appears they're all the same?

There are THREE different part numbers: C5TZ-6312-L .. E3TZ-6312-E .. E7TZ-6312-A

1987/89 (E7TZ-6312-A) is different than the others, due to the serpentine belt system.

What *exactly* did you not understand about what I said?

People on these forums are only here by giving their own time. No one is required to help anyone. If you don't like someone's answer, then don't use it, and move on. But do not be insulting and rude. It is not tolerated.
