Do 37.25" Class 3 hitches exist?
Hi there,
I've got an 82' F150, 4x4, reg cab, long box, 4.9l. I've measured the frame to be 37.25" outside to outside. Everytime I look up hitches for my vehicle they all say they'll fit... but don't. Why does all the documentation say a 34" tailer hitch kit would fit??? I bought one and held it up to the frame and it fits BETWEEN the rails without touching either side.
Before I go through the trouble of fabbing something, has anyone ever seen a 37" wide Class 3 hitch kit?
BTW.. this is a serious ******* retard of a truck. I can't even promise the frame is original. The box from my 86' 2wd fit on the frame though.

This Curt hitch is what we use on a 37.25" frame.
