I am looking at a hitch off of a looks like 94 ish frame, only the bed left and it has the hitch. the frame looks similar idk about the width but it looks like all i would have to do is drill some holes and bolt it in. wondering if a hitch from around that year will bolt to a 1974 f150 not hiboy, looks like it might but just need to know?
Bust out the tape measure brother.
I have been at a few salvage yards without one before, and just about anything will do. Heak I have even taken off a shoelace to use as a reference in a pinch. Oh yeh, most tennis shoe laces are about 43" long. Long enough to reach frame widths for the ever technical frame demension verification.
