2008 Ford F350 SD SRW 4x4 Second owner bought from Dealer. They never offered Bluetooth on this stock radio.
Single CD AM/FM with Sirrus XM Aux port, has phone mute button. Vehicle dose not have Bluetooth available in truck, no steering wheel buttons or ceiling mic.
Crutchfield Tech's told me that steering wheel seek up/down buttons acts as answer and hang up on phone calls.
Please Advise.
You are correct, your truck does not have Bluetooth in the stock headunit. Some have added Bluetooth to the stock unit using the aux input and a device that communicates with your phone. This works fine as long as the headunit is left on in the AUX mode.
If you are considering a aftermarket unit from Crutchfield, then you will need to rely on their tech support for that particular unit. If you know the make and model of the unit you could post it in the audio forum and likely get some help there.
