Hi Does anyone know the part number for a factory nav unit for a 2008 F250 Super Duty Lariat with sub woofer, 6 disc CD changer and steering wheel controls?
Thanks
The 06-08 Ford Nav units are all pretty much interchangeable. As long as the nav unit has a sub output it will work just fine in your SD. The steering wheel controls are programmed into the nav unit once you purchase it.
Here is my thread on how to install it (on an expedition but you get the drift) and some info.
If you do not have steering wheel controls, it is next to impossible to add them after the fact. You do not need them to have the nav unit. Most of the units from 05-08 will work once programmed for your vehicle. If you find a unit you plan to purchase, shoot me the link and I will let you know if it will work with your truck.

I got a nav unit off ebay and it works except for the following. The steering controls don't work, there are no instrument lights on the radio buttons at night. I get a "navigation fault" message but the gps seems to direct me to the proper address.
Will reprogramming fix those things? How much would you charge for reprogramming? How long is your turn around?
Send me your shipping address and any info I need to ship.
Thanks
Randy
