Headlight Recommendations?

Headlight Recommendations?
I need () to replace the headlights on my 2000 Ex. Can you recommend specific models/part numbers/links that you like or have worked for you? I'm a total newb so a complete build (ballasts? lamps? wicks & whale oil?) is very much appreciated. In descending order of importance, these are my objectives.
1. Quality
2. Quality
3. OEM fit/installation (OK to trim some header, but don't want to do a front-end conversion)
4. Easy calibration/adjustment
5. Upgraded looks/newer tech
6. Price

I went with some 02-04 style lamps from 1AAuto, at the same time I upgraded bulbs to Sylvania Silverstar's and used a Permatex Glass sealer around the new headlamp housings. Been on my 99 F250 for 5+ years now and still going strong. The are a night and day difference compared to OEM and total package was relatively inexpensive, around $120 total.
These are a aftermarket housing, Eagle Eyes if my memory is correct.
Some members use 05+ housings which require trimming if the header panel. This option is a little more expensive.
For either option you could add projectors with HID or LED for the truly best in light output. Not going to be cheap though.

I have aftermarket 05-07 style eagle eyes. They are about 5 years old.
One started leaking water inside after a month.
Both have peeling clear coat after about a year.
Both are faded after about two years.
Both are going in the trash and the 1999 style sealed beam assemblies are going in their place.
Top of the line JW Speaker LED lamps are going in as the bulb.
I actually like the style and durability of the recessed sealed beams, and you can be sure this configuration will last decades before servicing.
I am going to do a write up on this for two Excursions getting the same treatment.
