Headlight Bulbs

I just bought an 05 superduty and I was wondering if the bright white aftermarket bulbs from my 00 would fit?

i think the '05's still use a 9007 headlight bulb...

I think they use 9008, which aren't avail yet in my area. I read a post a couple weeks ago. I think the plug is different on the 9007.

The 05 bulbs are the new 9008 and according to PIAA they will not be the same as the others because the 9008 spec has different federal requirements regarding the tinting of the bulb glass.

We are screwed for the short term--the good news is the 9005 bulb will go into the fog light with no modifications!! I am running those right now along with the PIAA 520's I believe!
