Let me Begin by saying thank you to the contributors on this forum! Y'all have been very helpful to me. I'm not a mechanical guy, but with YouTube and this forum I have been able to get things done! (My wife is impressed and thinks I'm smart...she doesn't know y'all exist!😎
Today I replaced the AIC {automatic idle control} motor on my 2001 F150 SuperCrew 4 wheel drive 5.4 V8. While doing the repair I broke a washer fluid hose at a connection. The hose slips over a hard plastic connection and the whole thing snapped...see pic.
I broke my washer fluid line. (The rubber hose slips over a nozzle but the nozzle broke off in the hose.) I would like to know what this part is called so that I can replace it.
I would be glad to replace the entire piece but I don't know what it's called, neither does my auto parts store. Any help would be appreciated. I'm open to quick fixes from some of you smart guys too. Thanks for taking time to help me with my problem.
Yes I am but it only shows you holding one end of a hose, it doesn't show where it's supposed to go. So to me it looks like it was supposed to go up to a nozzle on the hood just up off the top of the picture.
