I don't have a manual for truck so don't know which one runs what?

Seems to be more to this than first thought.
I just noticed my taillights come on with the key , you don't need to turn switch on.
They work proper , signals etc but go off and on with the key?

do you mean if you press the unlock button they come on for a minute or so? isn't that normal?
or are you saying that when you turn the key to 'on' position you have running lights even though the light switch is turned off?
