E4OD shifting problems

I have a 94 F-150 2wd 5.0. Recently the transmission has been acting up. When you start the truck up and start driving it’ll have no check engine light and will hesitate to accelerate as if it is stuck between gears. But after about 10 minutes or so it will throw the check engine light on and shift fine. I pulled the code and it is 636, TOT sensor voltage out of self test range. Could anyone help me with what this could mean and how to fix this issue thanks

That code means the transmission wasn't warmed up enough when you ran the test. It isn't the reason the check engine light was on. There has to be at least one more code stored.
