I was under the belief that the later obs shifter that gets pushed down to pass neutral had a smaller bushing than the shifter that gets rocked outboard to pass neutral. Thanks to the listing below we can see they share the bushing because it calls out under 1987/96 F150/350 & Bronco. Good to know.
E3TZ-7335-A = 1983/89 Ranger; 1984/89 Bronco II; 1987/96 F150/350 & Bronco; 1997 F250 H/D & F350 / Obsolete ~ Available NOS

So, It appears both of the different transfer case shifters share the same bushings on the pivot bolt. I thought they looked too different in the pics I have seen. Thats what I get for looking at pictures and not reading, lol.

Thanks to NumberDummy again for his help on this site.

See edited post #14 for sources/phone numbers for EOTZ-7335-C & E3TZ-7335-A bushings.

Are those pics general in nature or should my shift lever match one or the other? I ask because it doesn't match.

This is the only other pic, but it doesn't show any bushings.

My setup matches this last one, since the ZF and 1356 in my truck are out of an '89, and the pivot bolt uses that very bushing that is being looked for.

Only reason I haven't permanently installed my own shifter is that I don't have the boot, since the boot in the donor truck was all torn up.

Azryael, is your pivot bolt huge, like with a 1.125" hex head bolt?

Something like that, yeah. I've not measured. I backed it out a ways after testing the T-case to made sure it worked after my swap because I was going to clean it all up.

Let me go snap a photo real fast.

Here you go:

If you look at the head of the big bolt, you'll see the rim of the bushing in question.

I may just be careful and apply some white lithium grease to it and take it from there.

Yes, that looks like my set up, only its the southern version, (no REAL rust). What size hex is that pivot bolt?

Well, just a quick measure with my calipers without yanking the bolt comes up to just over 1 5/32", or just a bit over 29.3MM, so a 30MM should fit it just enough without risking rounding it off.
