Bagged and Lifted F-450: Show Worthy Daily Hauler

High-end bagged and lifted Super Dutys are all the rage these days. Mainly because they can quite simply do it all!

I don't know about "do it all"

The pictured truck would be totally useless to pull the 5th wheel I have on order.

And tires sticking out past the fenders are a nuisance to anyone having to follow the truck (and illegal in some states).

Ya I don't agree with the "do it all" thing. It can't tow anything significant. As mentioned the tires sticking out are illegal in some places. In my opinion, it looks hideous.

Saw a lifted, oversized tire pickup almost wipe out a supervisors brand new truck...because it cant handle for **** in the snow. No lifts or oversized tires for me.

Yup. But I’m quite sure someone will jump in to support their God given right to spread shrapnel from the road across four lanes behind them, illegal or not. I’m guessing the response might also contain the word Prius for some reason. Weird.
It’s definitely easy to spot the folks that bought their trucks to work them and those who bought them to make a statement. But hey, I guess it’s still a free country, and like they say, it takes all kinds.

I would rather have a non-molested F-450...

Waste of money, can't do what a normal F-450 can do and can't do what a real truck can do....

I'm not a fan, but if it is bagged, it quite possible could air down and tow that fifth wheel just fine and do almost anything a "real" truck could do.

Pretty sure Ohio has bumper and headlight height restrictions. Exposed tire law in PA IIRC.

It's not fun to drive a vehicle that can be pulled over at any time without an excuse.

apparently he has to ride on the white line just to not sideswipe the vehicle beside him!

They’re not all the rage. They can’t do it all and hurt the practicality of the truck. I wouldn’t be caught dead in one.

Bagged, Lifted, Flimsy Offset Wheels, and Wrecked This is really a shame and I don't know the cause of this wreck, it quite possibly could be another vehicle but the modifications sure stand out. Driver attitude could also have been a contributing factor but this is only conjecture on my part. It might have been from mechanical failure or omission. However, often times vehicles with these setups and lack of experience towing heavy are worrisome to me and others on the highway, especially with the increased horsepower allowing easily obtainable higher speeds. You be the judge:

To each his own, personally I like it. As for the above Youtube video of that crash, I'd be interested to know what happened.
