I'm looking to add one of those gauge holders that fits onto the A-pillar. I currently have the stock set on the instrument panel that came with the truck, just the basics.
My question is: what two or three gauges would be the most helpful for my use? I don't do any pulling yet, the RV trailer is a ways off and I don't have any add-ons that I know of. The 4x4 is for beach travel or bad weather.
Heh heh, your thread was what actually got me thinking! I'm old school and think in terms of oil pressure/temp, fuel pressure, coolant temp, etc. Stuff like fuel trims and OBDII is all new to me.
I bought a scanner for $130 at the local parts store a few years ago for reading my trouble codes, but I don't understand half of what it might be able to tell me. I have some learning to do with all these sensors and terms. So I'm going to read through your thread a few times so I can begin to get up to speed with the rest of ya.

Thanks for your input!
It does look over whelming. Once you get in to it, no problem. If you carry an android smart phone then it is the way to go.
If you decide to dive in, I would be happy to help you. Just PM me in case I am not on the forum.
Thanks for that, Sir.
I'm one of the few that has a Windows phone which doesn't work with many apps designed for Android or Apple. It will be time for a replacement soon so I'll have to switch OS. I've seen others having frequent issues with ads and update problems on their Android so I had been reluctant to switch. I don't have those issues.
But I would like that App so I expect I will be leaning in that direction.
