Any reason you didn't keep the factory ecu and use that for trans control?
This is the diesel project, right? From what I remember working with the older Chrysler is that the ecu is almost standalone by itself

Yes the 47rh. Yes this is a diesel project otherwise I would not be doing this silly! This just seemed simpler to me. All set and done in smaller package then the ecu. I can set my own shift points make adjustments as needed. Almost like a tuner. Should be much easier to diagnose if I have problems then if I am using the ecu. Of the research I did this seemed pretty popular in this type of conversion.
Glad to hear you're feeling better, Jay. Lots of sick going around up here, I'm the only one in my office who hasn't caught anything yet. Not sure if I'll make it through unscathed, I fear my time is coming.
Got my new over-the-range microwave installed tonight, it turned out to be a bit easier than I thought it would. Aside from needing help lifting it into place, it was a piece of cake.
Had a nice mess in part of my shop this morning. When into the second part of my shop where my tractor and boat sits during the winter and sometime since yesterday the valve stem blew out of the tractor tire. Not a big deal except location was towards the bottom and there is fluid in my tires for weight or correction there was. All the fluid leaked out which was a lot!! Its chloride to so not like it dries up like water. What a mess and no drain in that part of the shop either.
Yep and chloride does not dry so used some floor dry for part of it and once I get the tractor tire fixed and out of the way I will have to try and squeegee the rest of it out. I figure there was about 40 gallons or so in there.
Well it was a productive day....sorta. Got a new carb kit installed in the ice auger. Started it and had gas running out of the exhaust! Took it apart again and realized I hadn't tightened the needle and seat very tight. Fixed that problem then went fishing. Nada, nothing only a couple bites. Came home and started chicken. Bummer.
But my day was better than yours Troy. That sucks!
