TP vs Analog...Gauges

So, my handshaker was broken into early Nov, taking my tablet. Well, Santa brought me new, but in the meantime, I acquired an auto truck. Now, I'm switching everything over to sell the handshake.
. I'm trying to figure out, whats on and not, with TP, so I no what NOT to include in new truck....

Analog gauges a must...
• dual pyros
• FP
• Oil pressure
• Water temperature

TP
• ICP, ipr%, EOT, trans slip, map, ebp, baro..etc

Question is/are...is there a trans temp, EOP on torque pro? I'm just getting around to downloading it and going through old TP threads...i really would like to stick to 5 possibly 6 analog gauges. Don't want to run the over the rear mirror gauges

Yes there is tranny temp and Rich's last update to the PID list has the latest one. No low pressure oil tho https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...nced-pids.html

Awesome! I'm stealing the f650 dash from handskaker and installing in auto. It has dual pyro, volts, fuel and oil pressures. Can substitute volts with coolant. Leaves me one spot where 4wd switch is, for volts I guess... Trying not to make cheese with this go around truck😁

Coolant temp? I've been monitoring EOT on TP for years while using the factory dash gauge for ECT, and it has covered my bases. John had a bad cooling fan clutch, and we were alerted of that strictly by using EOT. I have determined a separate ECT gauge is not needed... but others may hold a different opinion.

You can install a small DPDT switch on your FP gauge, and use it to read both fuel pressure and engine oil pressure - but not both simultaneously. [LINK]

If you use my input above, you can reduce the dial count to 3 - 2 EGTs and one 0-100 PSI gauge that covers FP and EOP. If you go with a different brand than I use, you can use a single dual EGT gauge and the single 0-100 PSI gauge - leaving you with 2 dial faces to monitor.

Tug, I completely forgot about the switch idea! I had it with wvo, switching coolant readings between waterpump temp and temp of coolant that was running in the wvo box..good call, slick.

. Looking to minimize cutting into dash..(gauges, led lights, switches..etc), but maximize trucks' functionality readings.. If that made any sense....

What to you feel is important to watch then, on TP? As of now, I've got about 15 gauges. There so small to fit, don't think I can see them once mounted, lol

I now have about 11 PIDs, including battery volts. I have learned that the more aggressive I get with monitoring, the more things get weird. I've had the best luck with keeping it under 12 PIDs.

Important: ICP, IPR, FIPW, EOT, Boost, Turbo Delta or EBP, TFT, TC Slip, Battery Volts

I threw Gear in there, added RPMs for logging, and time/date. Much of what is in there is more for logging purposes, because everything has been reading correctly for so long that it's boring to watch. I now monitor my temps and transmission behavior while towing, and that's about it.

This video below is old, before my final configuration - but you get the idea. I have a fueling screen and a transmission screen... but I might just make a towing screen and an idle curiosity screen.

Think I'm the catalyst of the walking dead. Again, didn't think of using multiple screen..👍.
. I should, considering, I've seen what happens when a pid doesn't jive with the obd. Your sol, in the LBC..😁 . Being new to autos, I'll start with what I know and bunch them accordingly, and move into next screw, like you said, and use them pid's for towing..etc
