heater problems

Hi everyone im new here to this forum i have 2006 f350 6.0l. i have been having problems with the heat only working when im at idle but when im driving it is getting cold as ice. i checked hgs i have checked vacuum lines have have check the oil to make sure it wasn't milky um-mm blendor actuator is working properly. i dont what else it would be and it acts like it needs burped. cause the degas container has some pressure not a lot though and it leaks a little. can some one help. also can anyone tell me y it is building pressure in the degas and what all could cause that to happen i would greatly appreciate any help thanks.

i had the same conditions my thermostat was bad... replaced it and had no more issues truck was also running cold as stat was wide open... in your case i would check to see if heater valve is operating opening and closing in addition to having a clogged heater core try flushing / back flushing heater core isolate it so that it you flush it by itself.
