Heater Problems

My heat is not working in my 1991 Ford Aerostar 3.0L. I have replaced Thermostat, Heater Core, Took the top of the dash apart to make sure everything was workig. It gets warm after running for a while but not hot. It seems to get warmer while driving or at a higher RPM. Both heater lines feel hot. If anyone has any answers it would be greatly appreciated. Im in the US military in Vilseck Germany and its getting cold here. Thanks

What brand/Temp of thermostat did you put in?

Did you flush the system after replacing the heater core?

Does your engine run cold?

I have a feeling that you might have air in the system that is causing the lack of heat in the interior.

If both heater core hoses are hot, it sounds like you have a problem with the door that controls airflow thru the heater core.

Never made it to Germany during my AF career, but I can imagine it gets pretty cold there......good luck!!!

I have flushed the system, I do hear a gargle sound in the heater core. Is their any trick to getting the air out, if that is it. Or if its the poor air flow what exactly am I looking for when I take the dash apart everything under their apears to be operating properly.
