1999 Super Duty heater problems
For a couple of years now my heater has only blown cold air, but this has not been a problem because I live in the Mojave Desert. The snowstorms we had this past week created all sorts of problems for me as you can imagine. I have checked the thermostat as well as the lines running to the heater core and cannot find any problems there. I have confirmed the fuse to the heater is still good. Other than that I am not sure what to check or what could be wrong. The AC works fine it is just the heater will not blow hot air. Any help would be appreciated!

I bet the blend door is jammed or you don't have vacuum getting to it. You're going to have to open the blower case and make sure the doors close. There is a door that flips between the AC condenser and the heater core, if it doesn't open up the heater core the heat doesn't make it to the ducts.
You should also feel both hoses going to the heater core, if one is hot and the other is not, coolant isn't flowing through the core.

I have checked to make sure that both lines are hot, but I will check that door to make sure it is working as well. On another forum I was told to change the vacuum switch located below the heater core and I will try that as well.
