Lower Decibel Air Compressor
Don't buy any compressor that has a pretty plastic cover. Underneath is an el cheapo setup that looks like one piston and a rod. I bought one and it howled like a banshee. I tore it off and put a big double in its place.

People in need of an air tank have been known to seal the pinholes with sealant or weld them shut. Any time a used tank is put back in service it is best to have it tested. There are tank companies in larger cities that provide that service. Fire extinguisher tanks and other compressed gas tanks are routinely tested in this manner.
