Probably... It's one of those safety features that, well, is shot by this time.
Delete it and call it good.
Or, if you are concerned about not knowing if the brakes have enough vacuum, just hydroboost swap it. No more vacuum worries! :P

I actually rerouted the vacuum line going to this sensor recently when I installed my coolant filter. I wondered what it was.
With a quick RockAuto search I wasn't able to find a replacement part. If it isn't available I wonder if it could be rebuilt like the VRV instead of deleting it?
