Hey guys. New to all this but I have a vacuum line running from distributor vacuum advance to a port on the side of my carburetor. (300 cfm motorcraft 2100) and I am wondering if I could plug that port and run my vacuum to this port on my intake shown below.
Vacuum advance should go to a ported vacuum, which has no vacuum at idle. A vacuum port on the manifold will have vacuum at idle. Keep it attached to your carb.
Yes, some sort of smog related device, which looks like it requires vacuum. My spacer has a hose to a pcv valve on the valve cover. You can change to a solid carb spacer and eliminate that contraption, or get hold of a vacuum diagram.
