Is this vacuum tree right?

Is this vacuum tree right?
As the picture shows one connection on my tree is plugged. Is anything supposed to go there or is the plug correct. I removed it and the idle went to 2500. It has a strong vac pull. Thanks Sandy

the plug does belong there. Ford used the same vacuum tree for all their f150s. for example, an xl and an xlt use the same tree, but an xlt will use all vacuum ports, or more of the vacuum ports as it has more accessories that are powered by vacuum. If you want, you could use that extra nipple for a vacuum gauge.
