Wow, I wasn't aware that the rear shock hardware is disposable and not recommended for re-use. Is that the same for the front shocks also? (Since we're getting use out of your shop manual) Thanks!
Those have to be the best images of any shop manual I've used. I may reconsider the manual being too expensive.
I bet that very few DIY mechanics toss the OEM shock nuts/bolts. I reused mine.
It's already paid for itself to me. The electrical and body diagrams have helped me do several OEM upgrades.
Admittedly, I didn't toss mine as the existing ones only had 5k on them. I know someone will clime in about them being torque once and therefore should be replaced. Oh, well. I reused mine.

where did you get this manual and how much was it? Is it like a pdf we could share and all pitch in on the cost? Looks nice!

It isn't a PDF and you have to have the original CD to install (I tried from a copy). They must have some hidden file/partition on the CD. Anyhow, it can be bought from here for $177.00. Well worth it to me as I do lots of personal work on my vehicles.
