Hi Guys, changed my rear shocks to fox 2.0. Was wondering what the torque spec is. I have a clunking noise so im sure they need to be tighter. Would like to just torque them to the correct spec.
Also to anyone that has changed them, Did you put them on shafts down or up. I have the boots so I did them shafts down. Just looking for what others have done.
Thanks
When I installed my bds 2 inch kit they called for 50 ft lbs in the front so I just did the same for the rear. So far no issues. Also I did shaft down. No particular reason other than to have the logo reading right side up. But like the directions say, they can be mounted in either direction.
THX so much! That's awesome. When I replaced the leaf springs I had no idea what the specs were. Drove a few miles and re torqued but still not actual specs. I'll check tonight and see how close I got.
Wow, I wasn't aware that the rear shock hardware is disposable and not recommended for re-use. Is that the same for the front shocks also? (Since we're getting use out of your shop manual) Thanks!
