Do your research first....This study seems to suggest that you get what you pay for, and
you probably don't want to go on the cheap with steering. Good luck.

You can't go wrong with an Ididit column. I have a column shift tilt in my 53 Chevy. Works well and I'm happy with it.

I believe the backup light switches are usually on the transmission, for vehicles that came with them.

I can't remember what trans you have but on my 4R70W both are in the Range Selector on the left side of the transmission and are wired into the Baumann controller. You run your wires from there to the backup lights and starter solenoid. Both of those circuits are included in the Ron Francis Bare Bonz fuse panel. The Lokar shifter also has a neutral start switch but you don't need to use it.

Lokar has you covered. I have a neutral safety switch on my 700-R4 but do not use or have back-up lights.
